Hi, I'm Emily
I have finally started my own health business, a dream I've had for years but wasn't sure how to quite put into action. I am so excited to help people like you in the best way I know how- by guiding you toward sustainable health and weight loss, which I do through 1:1 coaching. A health coach is someone who partners with a client to help the client achieve a higher level of well-being, especially when change is hard. As a coach, I am in a partnership with clients, meaning I guide them to shift negative beliefs and self talk that could be prohibiting them from achieving their goals.
A bit more about myself: I used to be a nurse, then a nurse practitioner working in this hospital. I am married to the most patient man in the world, and I have two children, ages 2.5 and 10 months, and a 12 year old chocolate lab mix. When I'm not mom-ing, wife-ing, or working on my business, you can find me doing yoga, strength training, cooking, and resting in my cozies (thats what we call our sweatpants around here). I've had my own issues with weight and an unpleasant relationship with food in the past, and I want nothing more than to help others find the freedom I have found.
My goal for these emails moving forward is to provide free, valuable information regarding health and mostly weight loss (the non-diet, sustainable, mind-shift kind). I may also sprinkle in tidbits about habits, life organization, and personal growth.

Since this email was lengthy introducing myself, I will leave you with one question to ponder this week:
What do you value in life (things, people, places, routines, tasks, etc)? example: I value intentional 1:1 time with my husband and kids, a clean and tidy kitchen to wake up to in the morning, daily movement, and only eating food I truly love. If you're still reading, thank YOU!
