  • A Coach is an expert in sustainable change who partners with clients over time to help them thrive, change and grow. Clients seek out coaches for assistance with self-directed, lasting changes that align with their values. These changes promote a healthy lifestyle which improves overall well-being. Coaches use a collaborative communication style, recognizing that each client is an expert in their life.

  • The first coaching session is 60 minutes long and subsequent sessions are 30 minutes. We will meet via Zoom and I will send you a link via email prior to our session. In the first session, we'll thoroughly discuss your history, values, and reasons for wanting weight loss coaching. You will leave the first session with a vision of your future self and actionable goals to start with. To fully concentrate on changing behavior and habits, it is highly recommended that you find a peaceful and isolated environment free from any distractions. This will greatly benefit your progress and success. You can expect to be asked questions that will enable you to open up and explore thoughts you may have not uncovered yet.

  • Long-term weight loss is possible by following a balanced diet and adopting healthy habits that fit into YOUR lifestyle. It requires consistency, patience, and a focus on overall well-being rather than quick fixes—which you will learn in my 12-Week Program.

  • I will help you lose weight by giving you my advice based on years of experience and knowledge, coaching your mindset, and helping you to understand and change habits. My simple, common sense program does not include counting calories or macronutrients, and it does not include specific meal plans or exercise routines. This program focuses on lifestyle modifications and managing your mind to lose weight.

  • It takes time to change habits, listen to your body, and unlearn years of diet trauma. The process is unique for each person. A 12-week period provides enough time to learn new concepts, implement a balanced diet, come across obstacles, gain and lose motivation, and have some major wins. I want to be your support through as much of the learning cycle as I can, so 12 weeks is a great start!

  • Absolutely! There is NO better time to start working on your relationship with food than when you are in a season of life like this. The great part about my program is that we do not rely on anything external to tell us what to do (like counting calories, macros, or meal replacement shakes). You only rely on YOU, your stomach and your brain. The best gift you can give yourself and your little one is peace and freedom when it comes to food, and a nourished body to embark on this incredible journey.

  • My program is not designed around that, so no. I have experience and knowledge in nutrition, but I am not a nutrition coach, a macro coach, or a registered dietitian. My weight loss philosophy revolves around listening to your body’s internal cues rather than relying on external directives. This approach helps you achieve long-lasting health and weight loss with practical tools that can be used anywhere, anytime.

  • I offer a 12-Week personalized weight loss program or a 30-Page Self-Paced PDF Weight Loss Guide, and individual coaching calls.

  • Everyone is unique and Emily Bach Health Coaching cannot guarantee a timeline of when you will achieve your goals. There are several factors that go into weight loss. Emily will guide, teach, and coach you to help you make progress. While some clients experience significant progress after completing just one 12-week session, others may require two to three sessions of the 12-Week Program in order to achieve their desired results.

  • …You can’t be coached. I will give you everything you need to be successful, but you must commit to showing up, doing the work and be willing to accept feedback and guidance.

    …You’re looking for a quick way to lose weight. I focus on strategies and habit changes that are sustainable for life and do not involve fad diets or quick fixes.

    …You have an active eating disorder and are not in current treatment or seeking support. Coaching is not a replacement for ED treatment; it is a supplement.

    …You are looking for prescriptions for weight loss medications. Though I am a nurse practitioner in the state of Ohio, I am not practicing as one through coaching.

 Coaching and Program FAQs

  • It is up to you to schedule your sessions. If you miss a scheduled session without cancelling at least 24 hours in advance, you will lose that session without the option to reschedule. Rescheduling must occur within 48 hours of the session. All coaching sessions are conducted online through Zoom or by telephone, depending on your preference.

  • All sessions and services are paid in full (or at least one payment of the payment plan option) upfront before any service is given. All services are final sale: no refunds or cancellations are permitted.

  • I accept Venmo, Credit Card, Paypal, Apple Pay, Cash or Check. I accept payments in full, or you can take advantage of the 3 installment payment plan.

  • As a weight loss coach, my pricing depends on your needs. I offer a wide variety of price points and resources that can be found here.

  • At this time, I do not accept any form of insurance and my services are not eligible for insurance reimbursement.
